The lodge offered EVERYTHING you need for a fantastic experience. Conveniently located near Denali parks, you can take in views of Denali right across the street, hop on a scenic hike right off the property, boat in the summer,and ice skate and snowmobile in the winter. The lake on property has a dock that is nice to just sit on and take in the view. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful, hooking you up with anything you need, from snacks to local adventure planning to suit your personal taste. The communal lodge kitchen feels like home and you never know who you might meet while you are drinking your morning coffee or cooking up some dinner. Fantastic amenities. Loved this stay.

We found a little piece of Heaven right here on earth in Alaska!! We stayed for 3 days but it definitely wasn’t long enough. Our cabin was absolutely adorable and the view of the lake from our bedroom window was breathtaking! If all this wasn’t enough, the amazing friendships that were forged will leave memories and feelings to last a lifetime! We cooked and invited folks from all over the world to the table and our invites for food and coffee we humbly accepted. We broke bread with wonderful folks from multiple countries and all over the USA! I’m talking people from Japan, Russia, Germany, Ireland, France, London, Korea and more, plus folks from all over the country! We all sat at the table together, the conversation was amazing, strangers walking through the door, walked out as family. While being out there, in the rugged terrain of Alaska, completely off grid, the world came together in peace and friendship. Had you been there with us, you’d never believe there was any turmoil in the world, because it was absolute peace, love and good food! There was also a 50k race through the trails there and they passed right through the trails of the Historic Chulitna Lodge! Guess what, we even had more folks stop in for coffee! It was wonderful and I can’t wait to go back!! I 100000% recommend staying here for anyone who adventures to Alaska. You will not be disappointed!!

We stayed this past week with a group of 12 adults and rented the entire property. We had an amazing time. Loved the accommodations. Easy access to Denali. Mike was amazingly helpful and responsive. I hope we can go back next year!

I stayed at the Historic Chulitna Lodge on our way from Fairbanks to Anchorage with my parents and my children. We had a great stay with Mark, the owner and Mike, his right hand man. Mark shared his delicious Cajun chicken and jambalaya with us and we swapped wonderful stories around the large dining room table with the other guests from around the world. I highly recommend staying here. Wish we had more days there and I look forward to other trips to visit and stay so I can kayak on the lake or sit around the bonfire pit roasting marshmallows. Ron Y. set up our rental, so our name may not be in your system. The lodge was very clean, comfortable, pleasant. We laughed after climbing a circle stairway to find a lift to the next level. The variety of spices, condiments, and meal helps was appreciated. The coffee/tea options were also appreciated. The furnishings were too nice for rambunctious children.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay. The circular staircase is part of the historic original log house. When we built the “Eagle’s nest” room as an addition we decided a lift would be a fun update! We hope you’ll visit again and tell all your friends about our property!
Love this cabin! Very clean and comfortable for us as we were snowmachining in the area March 21st and 22nd. Clean and cozy with all the amenities a guy could ask for and the folks running the place are super friendly. We will be back for sure!

This place was awesome. We had a group of 6 guys and it was the first time any of us had stayed at the lodge. It was way nicer than we expected and we will definitely be coming back! The place seemed to be very well maintained and was very clean upon our arrival. We especially enjoyed the Sauna!

Staying at Chulitna River Lodge was an incredible experience and the perfect getaway—even for us as Alaskans exploring deeper into our own state. The layout and design of the lodge made it easy for our family to come together, whether it was cooking meals, playing games, or just relaxing after a long day of snowmachining further up the road. The atmosphere was both comfortable and inviting, allowing us to truly unwind and enjoy quality time together. It was a much-needed break from the daily grind, offering not just a beautiful place to stay but also an stress-free, peaceful environment. We chose Alaska for our annual Christmas vacation this year. I can’t say enough amazing things about this lodge. Mike is the best! He made us feel right at home and was super accommodating. Our kids have traveled quite a bit, and they have not stopped talking about all the fun they had during our recent stay.
